A Place to Be Amazed.
For the sheer beauty of nature. Here, just like in our vineyards, we let nature take its course. We surrender to scents, breathe in a timeless atmosphere, and respect and rediscover authentic flavors that speak of our land.
The soul of Mastrojanni Restaurant, nestled in the hills of Montalcino, is rooted in Tuscan cuisine, seasonality, and the freshness of local ingredients. We believe in local producers and in a tireless organic vegetable garden that gives us over 70 varieties of fruits and vegetables and more than 30 aromatic herbs.
Our cuisine is a zero-kilometer Tuscan journey born from daily research. We favor small producers, local specialties, organic products, and – whenever possible – biodynamic farming. Meat and fish come from trusted local suppliers we have worked with for decades, cheeses and cured meats are sourced from nearby villages, bread and pasta are made in our own bakery, and the extra virgin olive oil comes from our olive trees.
We offer a simple cuisine, with minimal processing, rooted in traditional Tuscan recipes enriched by the creativity of our team. Dishes follow the rhythm of the seasons, yet we never forget to indulge cravings for beloved classics: the menu changes every month, while some recipes remain and alternate to tell the story of our land and its agricultural traditions.
And then there is the wine list, the result of careful research and constant updates, showcasing the best Tuscan wines to truly represent the local and regional wine scene. From historic wineries to niche producers, from Brunello di Montalcino to Mastrojanni labels and promising young winemakers: an experience that unfolds, glass after glass.
Mastrojanni Restaurant is located inside our Relais in the Val d’Orcia, with breathtaking views overlooking the Orcia River winding through the valley. A stunning place surrounded by vineyards stretching to the horizon and an infinity pool reflecting the slow rhythm of the Tuscan countryside.
The interiors, designed by artist Vittorio Corsini, blend vibrant colors and modern design with elements inspired by the surrounding nature, creating a refined yet welcoming atmosphere where you truly feel at home. Every detail is designed to encourage a slow, conscious, and sensory experience – an invitation to deeply connect with the land. A discreet luxury where time slows down, the wine opens up, and every dish tells our story: local, seasonal, creative. An experience for those seeking the perfect balance between simplicity, beauty, and nature.
